2009’s most popular pet names
(NECN) - The Angell Animal center in Boston released the most popular names for pets in 2009.
The hospital compiled its unscientific list from the more than 50,000 patients it treated this year.
"Max" was the most popular names given to male dogs and cats this year.
The top name for female dogs was "Bella," with "Kitty" earning the honors for female cats.
One of the most unusual cat names was "Uncle Fester."
