Obama asks bankers to support efforts to tighten financial industry
(NECN: Washington) - President Barack Obama is urging top bankers to support his efforts to enact financial reforms.
The President is meeting with financial services CEOs at the White House today.
Specifically, Obama is pushing banks to offer more lending to small businesses and to help millions of homeowners modify the terms of their mortgages to avoid foreclosure.
