Friday's ratings rose 50% over what they have been all season, beating the Letterman Show.

Gary Oldman plays the bad guy well.

The only problem with this film is that there have already been so many movies like it, and recently, too.

There are some nice twists in the end, including the final destination of the book he is lugging around.

Washington's character runs into the typical post-apocalyptic trouble -- cannibals, murderers and the likes.

The plot is absurd, but the visuals make it worth seeing on the big screen. And if it can be seen in 3D, then its even better.

We've seen the substance of this movie before, it just has never looked this spectacular. If you want something that is addressed to you eyeballs, this is where you'll find it.

Stanley Tucci, who plays the serial killer in this film, deserves an Oscar for this wonderful, creepy character. He has shown his versatility this year.

The ghost of one of the girls he killed is stuck in between this world and the afterlife, so she attempts to contact those still living to prevent him from going after her sister.

The movie fails to capture the pain of the parents and sister, as is evident in the book.

This film captures Tolstoy's historical importance, due to his influence in Russia. His wife does not like his status as the leader of a movement, because he sees the disciples as beneficiaries of his work, rather than his family.

It stokes a vicious fight that is without end.

While it sounds unpleasant, it is quite the opposite. These two have mastered their craft, and it's a pleasure to watch them go at it on the big screen.

Bridges is an iconic actor and every time one sees him on the screen, it is an enjoyable experience.

He plays a broken-down country western singer. An alcoholic, his relationship with his pickup truck has lasted longer than any with a woman.

Despite his character's flaws, he leaves you pulling for him to work it all out in the end.

One gets the feeling that everyone who performs in this film loves it and they want you to love it, too.

Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell join forces to complete the final film on which Heath Ledger was working when he died.

The three actors donated their pay from the film to Ledger's young daughter, Matilda.

"Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien just released a statement saying he will not do the show if it moves to 12:05 a.m., which is what NBC wants to do to make room for Jay Leno at 11:35 p.m.

In a statement Tuesday, O'Brien says that NBC has given him a scant seven months to try to establish himself as host of "Tonight."

Will Podkovich built and igloo in his front yard. He began construction the day after Christmas, using a saw to make blocks out of the snow.

He then stacked the blocks and smoothed out the rough edges.

The igloo stands about eight-feet tall.

There are tree stumps inside for seating.

Podkovich says it gets pretty warm inside because the snow and ice act as insulation.

The drama, called "Pregnancy Pact," centers on a pregnancy spike at a high school.

In 2008, seventeen teens became pregnant at a Gloucester school, and a controversy ensued when the school principal allegedly called it a "pregnancy pact." He later denied using the words.

Residents of Gloucester denied rumors of a pact at the school.

The Lifetime network says the movie is not based on the story. Still, it has some residents upset.
