I-93 South in Salem, NH reopens after crash
SALEM, N.H. (AP) - Interstate 93 South in New Hampshire has reopened after a truck crashed into a highway overpass bridge, snarling the morning commute.
Department of Transportation spokesman Bill Boynton says a truck headed east on Route 38 struck the overpass just after 6 a.m.
Friday. That forced the closure of I-93 South between Exits 1 and 2 in Salem. The highway was opened again by midmorning.
Officials sent structural engineers to the site to check damage to the bridge.
