Suspect in custody accused of shooting 3 RI detectives
(NECN: Jennifer Eagan - Providence, RI) - Three Providence, Rhode Island police detectives are expected to be okay after they were shot during a drug raid.
A suspect is in custody Monday morning.
This all happened Monday night around 7:30.
The officers were shot as they tried to serve a search warrant in Providence's west end neighborhood.
Police won't say if the injured officers returned fire, but the suspect is hospitalized with injuries sustained during the arrest.
