Yankees parade through New York to celebrate World Series win

(NECN: New York) - The New York Yankees are celebrating their World Series win with a parade through the city's streets.

The jubilant baseball players are riding on parade floats to City Hall Plaza, where the mayor will give them keys to the city.

Bells will peal at historic Trinity Church.

Lower Broadway is known as the Canyon of Heroes. Some 200 ticker-tape parades have been held there.

Hideki Matsui's record-tying six RBIs helped the Yankees to the 7-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. New York won the series 4-2.
